Visitors to our website do not need to provide any personal information to us. However, information such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, domain name, etc., may be tracked by our server and analysed for statistical purposes. Your individual identity will remain private.

The collection of personal data will be required for conference registration, subscription to our newsletters, participation in conference activities, and other interactions with our website. The personal data collected may include, but is not limited to, your name, address, birth date, identity card/passport number, gender, email address, telephone number, and personal interests, as permitted by applicable law. Provision of such information is completely voluntary, but if you choose not to provide the requested information, we will not be able to process your registration or send you any required information.
 


Purpose of Information

APETNA 2025 will only use the personal data collected for purposes of confirming your registration or subscription, facilitating payment for the conference, marketing and promotion of our new conference updates, analysing trends and statistics, and providing information about APETNA 2025.

In connection with our conference, we may contract with companies or individuals to provide third-party services such as credit card processing, shipping, and promotional services to facilitate your interactions with us. Your personal data may also be disclosed if necessary for the purpose of preventing or detecting a crime, for investigations, or as required or authorised by law or by the order of a court.
 


Choices to limit processing of Personal Data

The personal information provided to us undergoes processing, and by providing it, you agree to be included in our APETNA 2025 delegate database. We may communicate with delegates in our database from time to time, sharing information on conferences, new updates, etc. You have the right to limit in part or wholly any of the processes by which your data is subjected to with reasonable notice. If you prefer not to receive information from us, you may instruct us directly by email, providing your full name and email address. If you would like to update your information with us, please do so by sending us the details by email.

We will endeavour and strive to protect the security of your personal information that you share with us. However, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and you do so at your own risk.

For payment details, we use a secured payment gateway system which will transmit your payment details directly to our payment gateway partner. We do not keep any payment details.

Your personal data may be stored and transferred to third-party service or product providers, as well as to locations and/or systems within or outside Malaysia subject to strict confidentiality and appropriate levels of security safeguards.

During the APETNA 2025 Congress, photographs and videos will be taken by authorised personnel to document the event and for use in future promotions. By attending the congress, you consent to the following:

  • Types of Data Collected: Photos and videos taken during the congress may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to, marketing materials, websites, social media channels, newsletters, and future congress-related communications.

During the APETNA 2025 Congress, photographs and videos will be taken by authorised personnel to document the event and for use in future promotions. By attending the congress, you consent to the following:

  • Usage of Photographs and Videos: Photos and videos taken during the congress may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to, marketing materials, websites, social media channels, newsletters, and future congress-related communications.
  • Consent: By participating in APETNA 2025, you grant APETNA the right to use, reproduce, and distribute your image, likeness, and voice captured during the event in any and all media formats without compensation or further notice.
  • Opt-Out Option: If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please inform the event organisers at the registration desk or via email prior to the event. We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that your preferences are respected.
  • No Third-Party Use: APETNA will not sell, licence, or otherwise distribute the photos and videos taken during the congress to third parties for their commercial use without your explicit consent.
  • Respect for Privacy: We respect the privacy of all attendees and will handle all images and recordings responsibly. Photos and videos used for promotional purposes will aim to positively represent the congress and its participants.
  • Security: All photographs and videos will be stored securely, and access will be limited to authorised personnel only.

APETNA 2025 reserves the right to change our Privacy Policy from time to time and such changes will be notified to you by posting an updated version of the Policy on our website.
