Saravanan was officially diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease in 2012 after suffering from pain and flares for more than four years. In addition to having Crohn's disease, which he has had for 15 years, being an Ostomate has not always been simple.
Saravanan actively volunteer himself with the Malaysian Ostomy Association (MOSA). Through MOsA support group and other volunteer activities, he is motivated to raise awareness and advocate for the problems faced by Ostomates and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) patients. Saravanan is dedicated to sharing his story of struggles, perseverance, and hope with other IBD patients and Ostomate warriors.
