Dato' Hajah Fatimah Abd Hamid – Speaker Biography Dato' Hajah Fatimah Abd Hamid is a professional coach with over 41 years of experience in the Royal Malaysia Police (RMP). She retired at the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police, having held senior leadership roles at both state and federal levels, including at the RMP Headquarters in Bukit Aman. Throughout her distinguished career, she held several key positions, including Principal Assistant Director in the Integrity and Standards Compliance Department, Deputy Director in the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department, and Deputy Director of Human Resource Policy. Beyond her official duties, she contributed significantly to the development of women in policing, serving as Chairperson of the RMP Women Police Officers Committee and as Honorary Secretary of the Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF). Dato' Hajah Fatimah is widely recognised as a compelling speaker on leadership, integrity, and crime prevention, both in Malaysia and internationally. She has delivered lectures and presented seminar papers in Australia, Singapore, Vietnam, Pakistan, and at Scotland Yard in London, UK, among others. Her insights have been sought by international police organisations, government agencies, and civil society, and she has appeared frequently in the media as a trusted voice on policing. She holds a Diploma in Police Science and a Master of Social Science (Police Studies) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), and is a Certified Integrity Officer (CeIO) by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC). She is also a Certified Associate Coach. Today, Dato' Hajah Fatimah focuses on her work as a professional coach, helping leaders — especially in the public and service sectors — become more effective, grounded, and confident in their roles. Her passion lies in developing human capital, equipping individuals with the leadership and social-emotional skills needed to inspire teams, navigate change, and bridge gaps in communication.
